The Challenge
A defence infrastructure owner needed to develop a robust strategy for extending the operational life of critical facilities while maintaining capability, managing risk, and optimising future investment requirements. The challenge was to balance asset performance, operational demands, and financial constraints to ensure continued value from existing infrastructure.
Our Approach
Indicatura developed a KBEE®-led assessment framework combining Whole-Life Value analysis, quantitative risk assessment, lifecycle planning, and investment modelling. The approach evaluated alternative investment pathways and operational scenarios, helping decision-makers understand how different strategies would affect cost, performance, risk, and long-term capability.
The Outcome
The programme established a clear and structured basis for future investment planning and life-extension decision-making.
